  Great location and prices reasonable, very good serving sizes. Underwhelming food though. Not bad but just meh: bland dry pancakes, texture was like supermarket bread not pancakes; spinach in the big breakfast was super oily and soggy; vake was completely flavourless. Coffee was fair. I'll go back to try other stuff on the menu, the muesli was recommended to me by another diner sitting at the next table. The wait staff were lovely and chill.

  Lovely little spot outside the park, great for kids and ample parking. Nice tasting food too. Coffee was not to my taste. Overall great casual spot for an easy weekend brunch.

  The sourdough they use is quite tough and the cutlery quite blunt, you almost need a steak knife.

  The view over to the park is fantastic. The coffee—a large comes in a mug, not a large cup—is really good! I go here at least a few times a week for a coffee on my way to work. Ive only eaten here twice but the food is also decent. Its not the newest or trendiest spot in Marrickville, but thats why i love it. If you want great coffee, decent food, lovely owners and a hint of nostalgic Australiana decor, give it a go.
